Due to the continuously rising demand on output of photovoltaic installations the operators try to increase the voltage range. This makes it necessary, however, that the electrical components of the installation are adapted to the higher voltage level. Consequently, the requirements for failsafe disconnecting are rising accordingly.
With the CU Series Schaltbau has developed the first disconnecting contactor especially designed for PV installations, with a rated voltage of 1.5 kV up to 3 kV, UL listed and compliant to international standard IEC 60947-3.
To be exhibited for the first time at the Intersolar trade show, Hall C4 / Booth 451.
